Previously part of Bishop’s Primary School, James Knott Primary is now a recognised school in its own right, part of Northumberland Church of England Academy Trust (NCEAT).

NCEAT is a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) which strives to provide an inclusive and diverse learning environment, underpinned by Christian values which fit well with our own.

The Trust’s overarching vision is to “enable everyone in our communities to let their light shine” and aims to develop well-rounded, skilled young people through a challenging and varied curriculum who aspire to the fullness of life and understand the role they have to play in their local communities.
